Ferndahl Mountain Inn is a traditional bed and breakfast and air conditioned restaurant located in the hinterland of Coffs Harbour in the beautiful Orara Valley. Ferndahl offers a choice of four private and roomy suites each with their own facilities. In winter enjoy the comfort of log fires or laze on shady decks in summer.

Ferndahl restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm and other times via prior arrangement. Choice of Ã la carte or casual dining. The restaurant is open for in house guests seven days per week. Beautiful location for weddings and parties.

Surrounded by rainforest on a quiet mountain road, Ferndahl is a world away from the bustle of the coast just 11 kilometres away. Coffs Harbour is set in a magnificent sub tropical region, bounded by sandy beaches, sparkling ocean and rugged mountain ranges. Coffs Harbour offers a superb choice of outdoor recreation and picnic areas, excellent dining and cafes.

Ferndahl Mountain Inn offers a choice of four private and roomy suites each with their own facilities.

The most spacious of the four suites "Treetops" is furnished with a king size bed and has wonderful views across the Orara Valley.

"Pear Tree" suite named for the century old China Pear, has an outlook over the decks & rainforest.

Two double suites, "Valley View" and "Fernbank", have queen size beds and an extra room with either a single or folding bed.

Three suites share a lounge area where guests can relax over a cup of tea or coffee by the fireplace during winter or on the shady decks in summer. All suites are fully air-conditioned.

Things to do...

Here at Ferndahl we try to encourage laziness and sloth, but if you must, there are many things to see and do. Swimming is just outside your door and there are many little areas to read or relax around the property.

Walking is always popular and horse riding, carriage rides, white-water rafting, massages and other treatments can be arranged for you.

Art galleries (one at Ferndahl), craft centres, gold mine visits, rain forest walks and, of course, Coffs Harbour's magnificent beaches are all within easy reach.
